Carmarthenshire County Council Order Under Section 21 Of The Town Police Clauses Act 1847 For The Prevention Of Obstruction
Whereas on the dates listed in the Schedule below from 07:00 hours to 18:00 hours, Market Square, Llandovery will be thronged and liable to be obstructed, from its junction with Broad Street to its junction with Stone Street, for a distance of 165 metres in a North-Easterly direction, for Llandovery Farmers Market. CARMARTHENSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL pursuant to powers conferred by Section 21 of the Town Police
Clauses Act 1847 DOES HEREBY ORDER AND DIRECT that for the purpose of preventing obstruction in the said street, Market Square, Llandovery shall be closed to all vehicular traffic including pedal cycles on the dates listed in the Schedule below from 07:00 hours to 18:00 hours, subject to emergency service vehicles being allowed access to the street without delay in the event of an emergency.
The alternative route for North-Eastbound traffic will be to proceed in a North-Easterly direction along the Trunk Road A40 to its junction with Stone Street. At the junction turn left and proceed in a North-Westerly direction to return to a point North-East of the closure.
