The County Of Carmarthenshire (Unclassified Road South Of Llangadog) (Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic) Order 2023

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that length of the Unclassified located northeast of Allt Caeau Bychan Mawr, Llangadog extending from a point 338 metres south east of its junction with the Principal Road A4069 at Bont Fawr for a distance of approximately ¾ of a mile in an easterly and then general southerly direction.
Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route for east bound traffic from a point west of the closure is to proceed in a general westerly direction along the Unclassified Road to its junction with the Principal Road A4069 at Bont Fawr. Turn left at the junction and travel along the Principal Road A4069 in a south easterly direction to its junction with a Class III Road at Pont-ar-Llech, being the first junction on the left-hand side. Turn left at the junction and continue over the bridge carrying the Class III Road over the river Sawdde before turning left again onto an Unclassified Road which ultimately leads to Myddfai. Proceed along this unclassified road to return to a point southwest of the closure.
Vice versa for northwest bound diverted traffic.

The Order will continue in force until the works of making safe a land slip have been undertaken.
Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
