The County Of Carmarthenshire (Imposition Of 30 M.P.H. Speed Limit) (B4304 Coastal Link Road) (No.1) Order 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Carmarthenshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 84(1)(a), 84(1)(c), 84(2) and 124 of, and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
The effect of the proposed Order will be:
(a) To impose a 30m.p.h. speed limit along the lengths of road or part lengths of road briefly described in column 2 of Schedule 1 to this Notice but more particularly shown on the maps bearing a unique tile reference number specified in column 3 of Schedule 1 for each locality described in column 1 thereof,
(b) To revoke “The County of Carmarthenshire (Class II B4304 Coastal Link Road, Llanelli) (Imposition of 40mph Speed Limit) Order 1997” insofar as the same relates to the lengths of road briefly described in Schedule 2 to this Notice.
The draft Order together with the maps showing the lengths of road concerned, a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and the orders being revoked, may be examined at Carmarthenshire County Council’s Customer Service Hwb at No.36 Stepney Street, Llanelli SA15 3TR during the usual office hours.
