Introduction to British Sign Language
Do you want to learn the basics of the British Sign Language alphabet? You can learn how to ask questions, and to understand the answers given!
This is an Introduction to British Sign Language, level 1 beginners' course. You will not need any previous British Sign Language knowledge. The course is delivered for two hours per week for 10 weeks, and accredited by Agored Cymru. This is a tutor-led classroom course.
From the start you’ll agree goals with your tutor and form your own learning plan. You’ll keep your work in a portfolio and track your own learning. Your tutor will assess this and give you regular feedback to help you improve. Each lesson will add to what you have already learned (but you will need to do some work during the week).
