Independent Examination

Nicola Gulley MA MRTPI and Ian Stevens BA (Hons) MCD MRTPI were appointed by the Ministers of the Welsh Government to conduct the independent examination of the Carmarthenshire Revised Local Development Plan (LDP).

The examination hearing sessions took place in October and November 2024. The Action Points following these hearing sessions will be published in due course.

The Inspectors issued a letter to the Council regarding Housing Supply on 31 January 2025. The Council are undertaking a Consultation on Additional Sites from 27 March 2025 to 15 May 2025.

An additional hearing session, Hearing Session 12, has been scheduled to be held virtually on 26 November 2024 at 10:00am.

All hearing sessions will start at 10:00am and 14:00pm and finish about 17:00pm using Zoom. Lunch will normally be between 13:00pm and 14:00pm. Short breaks will be taken mid-morning and mid-afternoon. Please join the meeting 30 minutes prior.
